Reflux and GERD – Part 2 of 5

  • This acupoint is amazing. It is one of my preferred points to use. It helps with general wellness and ‘tonifying’ Chi (energy) and blood. It harmonizes and strengthens the Spleen and Stomach, helps calm a person and decreases pain. Of course, the point addresses stomach gastric pain and reflux.
  • This point is referred to as the three-mile point as it’s said that after activating it, you “can walk another three miles.” What? Sign me up!
  • Tired? – massage Stomach 36.
  • Having a rough day? – massage Stomach 36!
  • It also helps with nausea, dysphagia, abdominal distention, diarrhea, indigestion, dysentery, constipation, and abdominal pain, as well as coughs and asthma symptoms.
  • Sounds like a good point to add to a multiplex of reflux interventions!
  • Remember, no one point and no one intervention will eliminate reflux symptoms. That said, you now have a couple of new techniques to try!
