8 Sept. 1-hr Pre-class Introduction 4-5 Central Time

This introductory class will introduce you to what happens in the MBSR 9-week series. You will learn the origins of MBSR, practice a few meditation techniques, and learn an Energy-based method of reducing stress. The full class series will begin Sep 13, 2021.

Full Classes:

Eight Classes and One 3-hr silent retreat via ZOOM.
Wednesdays: Sep 8 – Nov 17, 2021 (skipping Nov 3)
Two hr. classes: 4 pm – 6 pm Central Time
3-hr silent retreat: 27 October

This class will teach the basics of mindfulness meditation through the practice of techniques followed by discussion. Energy Medicine and acupressure points to enhance meditation will be included. These techniques can be used for a lifetime of successful coping, calmness, and peace. Meditation is also a skill shown to increase personal intuition.

Why should you take this class with me?

I’ve meditated for 48 yrs. and taught meditation and visualization as an Occupational Therapist to both in-patients and out-patients. I’ve taught MBSR to hundreds of individuals. I’ve conducted research on meditation for the last ten years and presented/published 44 presentations/papers at national and International conferences on the effects of meditation. In terms of Eden Energy Medicine, I’m an Advanced Practitioner and instructor for Year 1 Fundamentals. I take meditation and EEM seriously, yet have fun with them both and love leading and learning with groups!
